Description

The SICK WTB4S-3P2261 is a miniature photoelectric proximity sensor designed for robust and precise object detection in industrial automation applications. It belongs to the W4S-3 series, offering a diffuse mode detection with background suppression, which ensures accurate sensing of objects regardless of surrounding backgrounds or reflections. The sensor emits a visible red PinPoint LED light at around 650 nm, producing a defined light spot (approx. Ø 6.5 mm at 150 mm) for easy alignment and reliable detection across the sensing range.

The device operates on a 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply and features a PNP output with selectable light/dark switching and complementary output functions.
