Description
The LAD9V2 from Schneider Electric (also branded under Square D in some markets) is a compact mechanical interlock device designed for use with LC1D09 to LC1D38 and LC1DT20 to LC1DT40 contactors from the TeSys D / Deca family. It mechanically links two contactors in reversing (forward/reverse motor control) or changeover applications, preventing both contactors from closing simultaneously and thus helping avoid electrical conflicts and hazardous overlap conditions.
Unlike electrical interlocks that use auxiliary contacts and wiring, LAD9V2 relies solely on mechanical locking.
